Gia von Genf is a gorgeous six-year-old German Shepherd. Gia has the manners of a true princess and has gotten the royal treatment while living at the rescue.  Even so, she misses being in a home, where she has proven to be crate-trained, housebroken and knows her basic commands.  She has also lived with other big dogs and gets along well with mellow, small dogs.  Being a gentle and mature type, she expects other dogs to have the same ability to self-contain.  She will warn off pushy or high-energy dogs and is drawn to other well-mannered fur friends.  Gia loves helping out around the rescue office and fancies herself as the unofficial ambassador.  With the greeting skills she has practiced on a daily basis, she's sure to be your best companion ever!  Live out of state?   No problem, Gia is happy to fly to you.  We are so sure that her gentle demeanor and sweet nature will land her the home she deserves.
